Sometime you Just. Don't. Want. to socialize... is this bad?
Everything will be okay. Everything will be okay. The cell door slams shut behind me, and the guard’s footsteps echo down the hall. My mental chant still streams through my head: Everything will be okay.
If you're anywhere near my age (i.e., late teens/early twenties), you've probably experienced this phenomenon. One day, you just look into the mirror and realize: I'm an adult now.
Every once in a while, I come across a book that stands out from amongst the thousands that I've read. A little anecdote here, the author's voice there, a character that will stick in my head for the rest of my life.
